Sales and marketing

In Q1 2012, our Sales and Marketing effort in the Middle East Region, which cover Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi-arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Oman showed an increase of 60% in sales in comparison with 2011.

Manufacturing

With 8 manufacturing plants, Taj Pharma is now the fifth largest pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the Middle East Region, with five facilities in Mumbai, two in Gujarat, and operations in Italy, Algeria, Germany, Egypt, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.

Research and development (R&D)

Taj Pharma currently has four R&D centers. In 2011, we added 78 new products to the Group’s portfolio, which now includes 4600 products in 6876 dosage strength and forms, 400 of which we manufacture and/or sell under license.
