Dosage
1 tab daily, from 1st day of menstruation w/o interruption for 28
days.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Pregnancy; severe liver disease, cholestatic jaundice, history of
jaundice, severe pruritus or herpes gestationis of pregnancy.
Rotor & Dubin-Johnson syndrome; undiagnosed vag bleeding, history
of tubal pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Latent or overt cardiac failure, renal dysfunction, hypertension,
epilepsy, migraine; thromboembolism.
Adverse Drug Reactions
Fluid retention, change in body wt; GI upset, cholestatic
jaundice; headache, migraine, mood change; chloasma, rash;
intermenstrual bleeding, post-med amenorrhea, change in cervical
secretion, candidiasis; reduced glucose tolerance; breast
tenderness.
