Composition:
Each Ranitide 2ml injection contains: Ranitidine (as HCl) ……….50mg
Each Ranitide tablet contains: Ranitidine (as HCl) ……….300mg
Indications:
- Short term treatment of active duodenal ulcer
- Maintenance therapy for duodenal ulcer
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
- Short term treatment of active, benign gastric ulcer
- Maintenance therapy for gastric ulcers
- Treatment of GERD
- Treatment of erosive esophagitis
- Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis
Dosage and Administration:
Active duodenal ulcer: 300mg once daily at bed time
Maintenance of healing of duodenal ulcers: 150mg once daily at bed
time
Zollinger Ellison Syndrome: 300mg once daily at bed time
Benign gastric ulcer: 300mg once daily
Maintenance of healing of gastric ulcers: 150mg at bed time
GERD: 300mg once daily
Erosive esophagitis: 300mg twice daily
Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis: 300mg once
daily
IM injection: 50mg (2ml) every 6 to 8 hours
IV injection: 50mg injected over a period of not less than
5 minutes.
Presentation:
Ranitide injections are available in a pack of 5's.
Ranitide tablets are available in a blister pack of 10's.
