mg
Ambroxol............................................................60
mg
Indications
UTI, RTI, ENT infections, skin and soft tissue
Description
Roxithromycin prevents bacteria from growing, by interfering with
their protein synthesis. Roxithromycin binds to the subunit 50S of
the bacterial ribosome, and thus inhibits the translocation of
peptides. Roxithromycin has similar antimicrobial spectrum as
erythromycin, but is more effective against certain gram-negative
bacteria, particularly Legionella pneumophila.
Ambroxol increases content of surphactant in lungs, that is dealt
with strengthening of synthesis of the last and secretion in
alveolar pneumocytes, and also with breach of its disintegration.
The medicinal product increases mucociliar transport of phlegm. It
suppresses coughing insignificantly.
