Quinine Sulphate...........................................300 mg

Indications
Chloroquine-resistant falciparum malaria, and as alternative therapy for chloroquine-sensitive strains of P. falciparum, P. malariae, P. ovale and P. vivax.

Description
Quinine inhibits nucleic acid synthesis, protein synthesis, and glycolysis in Plasmodium falciparum and can bind with hemazoin in parasitized erythrocytes.

Dosage
Qinarsol Tablets should be taken with food or after meals.

Adults : 300 mg (2 tablets) every 8 hours for 3 to 7 days.
