comes in 5-10 minutes after the introduction of

lasts up to 12 hours.

: Allergic diseases and common cold, influenza and
other viral respiratory infections, accompanied by
acute rhinitis, antritis or other sinusitis.
Dosage form
: Spray in bottles 10 ml and 30 ml.
Pharmacologic property:
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is an agonist of
-a-adrenergic receptors (a sympathomimetic) and
causes vasoconstriction by stimulating a-receptors
in the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.
From a clinical viewpoint, Phenylephrine reduces
swelling of mucous membranes and hyperemia of
tissues, relieves nasal congestion and augments
nasal patency.
Indication and usage:To
make nasal breathing easier in case of colds, flu,
hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies
accompanied by acute rhinitis or sinusitis; acute
otitis media (as an auxiliary remedy).
